EMBODIED LANDSCAPE

In my artistic practice, I explore the human body, emotions, and the relationship between humans and nature. I am particularly interested in how emotions manifest in the body. What does fear feel like physically? How does love change the way we perceive the world? And how can such inner experiences be translated into a visible form?

Many of my works emerge from a deeply physical and intuitive process. I often work directly with my hands and with materials that have a strong presence—such as concrete, fiberglass, and natural materials. For me, the body is not something fixed or closed. It is open, changeable, and deeply connected to its surroundings.

In this exhibition, the idea of landscape plays an important role. I see landscape not only as the space around us, but also as something living—almost like a body. At the same time, I understand the human body as part of this landscape.

In several sculptures, human and plant forms merge. These works are inspired by mythological figures such as dryads and the figure of Daphne. For me, they symbolize transformation, protection, and a particular form of feminine strength.
